Terms of use
Last updated 4 September 2026
Plain terms for a free app. Installing TV Remotly means you accept them.
What you get
A licence to use TV Remotly on your own devices, for personal use, free of charge. You may not resell it, redistribute modified builds or pull it apart to ship something else.
What the app promises
It controls televisions that expose a network control protocol and that your network allows it to reach. Manufacturers change those protocols in firmware updates without notice, so support for a specific model can break through no action of ours. The Supported TVs page reflects what is confirmed today, not a guarantee.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. We are not liable for anything that happens on your television, your network or your phone as a result of using it, to the extent the law allows.
Trademarks
Samsung, LG, Sony, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, Android TV, Hisense, VIDAA and Vizio SmartCast are trademarks of their respective owners. TV Remotly is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any television manufacturer.
Support
Support is the public board on this site. There is no private SLA and no phone line. Every ticket is read; the board says where each one stands.
Changes
These terms can change with a new release. The date at the top says when they last did, and material changes are noted on the board.
